Suffolk-based creative business services agency Jacob Bailey is celebrating after picking up a nomination in the ‘Integrated Campaign of the Year’ category (B2B) at this year’s UK Digital Excellence Awards.
The nomination is in recognition of Jacob Bailey’s work with their client Redwood Collections, a B2B debt collection agency.
In 2021, Jacob Bailey developed a brand strategy for Redwood built around a proposition of ‘Grow Stronger’, positioning them as professional and diligent financial services experts, helping businesses recoup lost revenue.
The next task was to amplify their brand positioning, establish Redwood as a thought leader in their space and generate sales leads. The core strategy was to make Redwood the go-to website for anyone looking to find out more about B2B debt collection, using a ‘They Ask, You Answer’ approach to content creation and creating a paid search and display advertising campaign to amplify brand awareness and drive conversions online.
The ‘Grow Stronger’ messaging and the brand’s strategic emphasis on a customer-first approach were placed front and centre to differentiate. The campaign activity is proven to have driven valuable sales leads and shows a marketing return on investment of 3:1 and has contributed towards a 512% increase in web traffic.
Matt Collins, Head of Operations for Redwood Collections, commented: “Jacob Bailey took us on a well-structured journey that delivered a brand we all feel genuinely proud of and perfectly captures who we are.
Since then, we’ve been pleased to embark on a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. Not only have we seen a significant uplift in enquiries, but crucially we have been able to reallocate roles within our internal team to concentrate on higher value, strategic activity. The digital campaigns have had a real impact, generating significant revenue for us to reinvest in our business and accelerate growth. As digital marketing was a relatively new channel for us, we wanted to work with a team we could trust to bring our brand to a wider audience online.
We appreciate Jacob Bailey’s approach to regular reporting – an honest, open forum for improvements and new ideas. They also work diligently to ensure our monthly media budget is allocated in the best way. They have been proactive, innovative and most importantly, added real value to our business.”
The nomination comes in an important year for Jacob Bailey – the company is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Specialising in brand strategy and websites, in that time the agency has worked with clients across a wide range of sectors regionally, nationally and internationally, including Mastercard, OTIS, BT, American Elevator Group, Greater Anglia, Red Tractor, Jordans Dorset Ryvita, Berkeley Group and Countryside Partnerships.
Part of the Jacob Bailey Group, Jacob Bailey employees 20 people. Other companies in the group include 032, packaging and point of sale experts, DestinationCore, an off the shelf web platform for places and shopping centres and Infotex, Jacob Bailey’s digital partners, with whom they collaborated on the Redwood campaign.
Roj Whitelock, Managing Partner at Jacob Bailey commented: “We’re incredibly proud of our work with Redwood Collections. Via a combination of an effective content strategy and a clear focus on lead generation, it’s been fantastic to see their return on investment increasing. Having our work recognised as part of the shortlist for the UK Digital Excellence Awards is excellent news and we’re looking forward to the ceremony in 2024.”
